The Low Down

At Magpie Trading, we do our best to accurately describe each item, including (in most cases) pictures that can be enlarged to see details. If you still have any questions at all about an item, please ask us BEFORE making a purchase. While our shipping department is closed weekends and holidays, we do normally answer inquiries within 24 hours. If you have not heard from us, please check your junk mail folder.

The Magpie Trading inventory changes daily, and while we strive to keep it as accurate as possible, mistakes CAN and DO happen once in awhile. In the event that you may purchase something that is out of stock, we will notify you immediately and issue a full refund and cancel the transaction.

Payment methods

Paypal is accepted. You do not have to have a Paypal account to pay by credit card.

BEFORE paying, please confirm that PayPal has your current street address and phone number for delivery. If this is a gift, let us know and be sure the recipient’s address is registered on your Paypal account.
Sales Tax

9.3% if shipped to Arizona. International buyers, any VAT, taxes, duties, etc will not be paid at time of purchase, but collected upon delivery.

Shipping/Handling

We ship Monday-Friday, excluding holidays. Domestic carriers will vary. We use USPS, UPS, FedEx, and at times other shippers, at our discretion based on size, weight, etc. Foreign orders are shipped via USPS. We insure all shipments to guarantee safe arrival.

We normally ship within 2 business days of payment confirmation, unless noted otherwise in the listing description. Some items are not stored in our office, but shipped from our fulfillment service or are sent directly from the manufacturer or distributor, so may take a little longer.

We will notify you when your order ships, what carrier, and the tracking number (customs number for International buyers) so you can better anticipate delivery. Please note that we both are at the mercy of the carrier once the item ships. Items may take significantly longer to reach their destination during holidays, inclement weather, natural disasters, strikes, etc.

International Buyers

Almost all our products are available to ship worldwide!
If shipping rates to your country are not listed, please contact us for a quote before bidding. Foreign orders are shipped via USPS and insured.

Before ordering, please be aware of your country’s restrictions, laws, regulations and fees regarding importation.
We will not mark merchandise values below value or mark items as gifts – US and International government regulations prohibit this. Import duties, taxes, VAT, tariffs, and customs charges are not included in the item price or shipping charges. These charges are the buyer’s responsibility. Please check with your country’s customs office to determine what these additional costs will be prior to bidding/buying. These charges are normally collected by the delivering freight (shipping) company or when you pick the item up. Do not confuse them for additional shipping charges.

Because many of our manufacturers and our fulfillment service are not set up for International shipping in most cases, some items may take 5-10 business days longer for your purchase to be in the mail because the item must be sent to us first, then re-routed to you. We will keep you informed at each step of the way.

International shipments may take up to a month or more to reach their destination, largely because of delays in customs once it reaches your country. These possibilities are completely out of our hands. Please use your customs number for progress details. While insured, we cannot and will not be responsible for any delays once it leaves our warehouse.

Returns

Doesn’t fit? Damaged? Not as described? Just don’t like it? Money back guarantee, period!

Please inspect your purchase immediately upon arrival to insure that it is the item you purchased and in the condition as advertised in the listing.

If there is shipping damage, please let us know immediately! In some cases, shipping damage claims must be accompanied by original damaged packaging, though usually, a picture of the damaged item and the condition of the box is sufficient. You will be required to fill out & sign a short affidavit. Once we receive that (and the damaged product, only if instructed), we will issue your refund and we will take it from there.

If significantly not as described, DOA, or otherwise our error, you will receive a 100% refund, including original and return shipping costs (if applicable).

Returns for any other reason, your purchase price will be refunded. Items sold with ‘free shipping’ will have actual original shipping charges deducted. You are responsible for return shipping costs, including return shipping insurance & tracking.

No refunds without prior arrangements. All return claims must be made within 60 days of receipt of your order and received by us within 2 weeks of claim. It must be the actual item and in the original, uninstalled/unused condition with all accessories and original packaging that left our warehouse. Refunds will be issued after the item is received and inspected. Refunds are issued to the original method used for purchase.

There is no reason for less than stellar feedback, as we work hard to resolve any concerns. We do make mistakes sometimes but will do what it takes to correct them ASAP. By placing an order, the purchaser agrees to hold Magpie Trading, its owner, employees, and affiliates harmless from any special, incidental, or consequential damages; claim, injury, or fatality; and harmless from any actions, legal and/or court fees brought against him/her in connection with any use/misuse of products.
